Introduction to Web Art and Design

ACAD is partnering with OCAD U to provide a set of online courses for you to complete on your own schedule.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced course where students should gain the conceptual and technical skills to create online art and design content. Techniques covered include image preparation, video and audio compression, navigation, HTML and CSS authoring using Adobe Dreamweaver.

About Your Instructor:    

Chris K. Kim is a Toronto-based digital media designer with an affinity for a minimalist approach to motion and web design. A graduate of Ryerson University's Radio and Television Arts program and the subsequent master's degree program, Chris has been working in collaboration with a variety of Canadian and international institutions including Ryerson University, Bell Media, and Oxfam International as a digital media consultant. His personal projects also have been recognized on campus as well as in the industry via numerous awards, publications, and exhibitions. Chris currently works at TAG Idea Revolution, where he collaborates with other account directors and designers to develop a variety of Web- and print-based projects for clients including Philips, High Liner, and Swiss Natural.
