What are Micro-Credentials?

Our Micro-Credential programs are designed to complement a professional's curriculum vitae (CV) without the need to invest in a multi-year degree. Micro-credentials are mini-certificates to customize and accelerate your professional development. They are the newest, fastest, and most convenient way of learning specialized topics and give our students a competitive edge in their professional work. Each Micro-Credential can be completed in under four months.

nce you have declared your intention to complete this certificate, this fee will be removed from your second course and workshops if completing them within one academic year.

Admission Requirements

Applicants should have: 

Language Proficiency – English Language Proficiency (if educated outside Canada)  

A score of 83 or higher on an official Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) on the Internet-based test (iBT), with a minimum score of 20 in each of the four testing sections, or 220 on the computer-based test (CBT). 

A score of 70 or higher on the Canadian Academic English Language (CAEL) assessment, or a score of 70, or higher on the computer edition (CAEL CE) 

A score of 6.5 or higher on the International English Language Test (IELTS) 

Completion Requirements

For successful completion of a mini-certificate, students will successfully complete and pass 2 courses and 3 workshops.
