Stay at SAIT residence while attending Pre-College.

Pre-College students who need overnight accommodations are welcome to stay in the SAIT residence, just a five minute walk from AUArts.

Residence is a safe and convenient option for those who are just starting out on their own, giving you the opportunity to see what living on your own is like with a little bit of a safety net. Although this is unchaperoned accommodation, we are happy to check-in regularly with participants and connect them with resources as needed.

Each unit has four private bedrooms, two entrance doors, two bathrooms, and a common living space/kitchen. Residence is furnished. Each room has a double extra-long bed, desk, dressers, and full closets. There are complete bathrooms in each unit, full fridge, stove, and microwave. All utilities and basic internet and cable are included. You can bring your own TV for your private bedroom, but the quad units have them in the common living room, and the common areas on each floor also have TV and couches. All you have to bring are your own personal effects, bedding (basic linens and towels are provided), shower/bathroom items (you will need a shower curtain), and cleaning products.

Cooking utensils, dishes, cutlery and small appliances are provided for you by the Pre-College Program. There are laundry facilities in the basement and an art studio  where students can work on projects that they bring home. Outfitted with drafting tables, light tables, counter spaces, sinks, and a ventilated spray paint area, it’s perfect for the budding artist.
