GLSS 222 - Alternative processes
This course is designed to be a responsive workshop where ideas, topics and interests of students in the class can be approached utilizing glass in experimental and non-traditional ways. Collaborative problem solving is encouraged, and mixed media and conceptual approaches are supported. This course is based in the hot glass studio and during the course day, all glass working studios are available to students.
The content of this course will vary depending on the participants and the instructor teaching the course, therefore the objectives, approaches and assessment criteria will be set out at the beginning of the course through collective discussion and individual learning agreements.
NOTE: This course is highly recommended for all Glass Majors.
Completion of 24 credits from First Year Studies or equivalents or consent of the Chair in consultation with the instructor. This course is highly recommended for all GLASS Majors.
