NASC 315 - Introductory Gemology

This course introduces the students to the principles of gemology necessary to evaluate, identify and differentiate gem species. The course has a theoretical and practical component. Low level technology is utilized.

Completion of First Year Studies plus a minimum of 6 credits of any 200 level courses or equivalent, or consent of the Chair in consultation with the instructor.
