PHTG 231 - Design for the Photographic Image

This course introduces photography students to basic principles of design and how they are applied in both student and professional photographic practice. Students will analyse photography’s role in the context of photo-based communication design applications, create photography that utilizes principles of design to support communication, and examine how photographers collaborate with graphic designers within a communication design context.
