Call for AUArts student submissions | Calgary International Airport

Alberta University of the Arts' students get the unique opportunity to display their artwork at the Calgary International Airport, in partnership with YYC Airport Authority and Pattison Outdoor Advertising.
The Airport Authority is donating an assortment of high-profile digital screens throughout the domestic and international terminals to showcase student artwork. Each digital display will include an image or video of the artwork, list the title of the piece, and identify artists by name.
The art will be displayed randomly on a rotating basis throughout the airport until September 2020. This is an opportunity to showcase student work to a large audience from Calgary and the international community.
Students are invited to participate and submit up to four pieces to be considered. Works featured will be selected by members from the YYC Airport Authority and AUArts Communications & Marketing Department.
**Subject matter must be suitable for all audiences.**
Selections will begin September 9, 2019, and reviewed on an ongoing basis until May 31, 2020.
Students will be notified if their work is selected and will be required to sign a release form authorizing work to be digitally displayed at the Airport.
- Images submitted may need to be cropped to fit the digital format and below are the required file specs:
- Static Images Use High-Resolution JPG
- Video Supply as progressive video, square pixel (1:1).MOV file (QuickTime, MPEG4 Codecs) Frame rate 30 fps Bit rate 16 Mbits Video file size not to exceed 1 GB
