WHERE: Main Mall and Stanford Perrott Lecture Theatre, Alberta University of the Arts
Please join us for the closing reception of Grad Show 2019 and enjoy an exciting panel discussion featuring AUArts Alum. They will be discussing their practices and the pathways they took to get to where they are. A cash bar and refreshments will be available during the closing reception both before and after the panel discussion in the Main Mall.
We will have all galleries open for visitors to take a look at all the outstanding work in Grad Show by our 2019 AUArts graduates!
AUArts Alumni Panel
- Kyle Chow (BDes, 2009) - Kyle is a design director, graphic designer, owner of Plant in Inglewood, and Graphic Design Instructor at AUArts.
- Tamara Lee-Anne Cardinal (BFA, 2015) - Tamara is a multimedia artist and community activist.
- Kyle Simmers (BDes, 2017) - Kyle is illustrator, muralist and author.
- Laura Sharp (BFA, 2006) - Laura is a studio potter and co-founder of New Craft Coalition.
The panel will be moderated by Dr. Chris Frey, AUArts Critical and Creative Studies Faculty member.
