The Office of the President and CEO is pleased to announce that submissions are open for the 12th Annual President’s Student Art, Craft and Design Exhibition!
Work selected will be on display from June 2023 to February 2024 in offices and common spaces around Alberta University of the Arts for viewing pleasure of visitors, students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
Submissions are strongly encouraged and welcomed from students in all departments and all year levels. This includes 2D and 3D work and video submissions no longer than 5 minutes, with no flashing animation or sound. (Due to location limitations, work that is using projection, sounds and/or performance-based cannot be accepted at his time).
All students wishing to participate in the 12th Annual President’s Student Exhibition can submit their artworks via SlideRoom by March 24, 2023 using the link below:

Each student may submit up to three different pieces for consideration and there is no cost for submissions. If the student wishes to submit a series of artwork or multiple pieces together, all pieces must be included in one submission.
This exhibition will be juried for the fifth year in a row and pieces will be selected for special recognition and a cash prize. Congratulations to the four recipients whose work were purchased by the University:
- Sharon Boucher, 2nd Year
- Morgan Calenso, 3rd Year
- Emily Fyfe, 3rd Year
- Jonathan Creese, 1st Year – AUArts Holiday Card for 2022
Successful applicants for the 12th Annual Exhibition will be notified by email April 2023.
