Sound Pool: The Manufacturing of Silence, Steve Heimbecker's current installation project consists of eight interconnected kinetic sculpture/paintings which he refers to as Axis Speakers. 

Heimbecker is a Calgary based multi-media artist who works with electro-acoustics to produce large-scale sound installations and compositions that physically and conceptually challenge our relationship with space and time or what he now calls the 'Sound Pool.'
