Please review the information below to help ensure your application is complete and considered.
Before You Apply
Before submitting your application:
- Carefully review the qualifications, application requirements, and application deadline listed in the posting.
- Ensure your resume and supporting materials clearly demonstrate how you meet the required qualifications.
- Confirm you can submit all required documentation by the stated deadline.
Incomplete applications may not be considered.
Submitting Your Application
General Requirements
- Submit a separate application for each competition, unless otherwise specified.
- Clearly identify the position title and competition number in your submission.
- Include all required supporting materials as outlined in the job posting.
- Applications must be submitted electronically through the AUArts Careers page. We do not accept emailed or paper applications.
- Ensure your application is submitted before the posted deadline.
- Internal applicants: If you are applying as an active AUArts employee, you must submit your application through your Dayforce account.
- From the menu, select Careers > Search Jobs to view open positions and apply.
Uploading Your Documents
When applying through the portal, you will see three options:
- Upload Resume (Preferred method)
- Create Your Resume
- Apply with LinkedIn
We strongly recommend selecting “Upload Resume”, as this allows you to upload your full application package, including any required documentation (e.g., cover letter, CV, portfolio, etc.).
Although some fields may auto-populate from your uploaded resume, only the documents you upload will be reviewed for assessment purposes.
File Format Guidelines
- It is recommended (but not required) that all application materials be combined into one single PDF document.
- Upload your combined PDF in the “Resume” section of the portal.
- If you are unable to combine documents, you may upload additional files under the “Additional Documents” section.
- Do not submit files that require special software, plug-ins, extensions, or executables to open.
- Test your files before submission to ensure they are readable and formatted correctly.
Can I Edit My Application After Submitting?
- No. Once your application has been submitted, you cannot make edits or upload additional documents through the system.
- If you need to make a correction, please contact Human Resources.
