Asian History Month happens every May. It’s an opportunity to learn more about the diverse cultures and histories of the Asian communities around the world.
Asian artists have impacted how we see, hear, feel, touch, and interpret our surroundings. You might not even realize it! It can be in the design of the dishes you use, the graphics you see in advertisements, how you approach art and interpret its meaning, or even ideas about social activism.
At AUArts Library, we have hundreds of books and other materials available that let users take a deep dive into the worlds of Asian artists and art movements, and into the impact they had on a wide range of cultural, economic, and political events in history. Below is a taste of what we have in the collection.
