Fahrenheit 2024

This year, AMOCA features the talents of artists contributing to the contemporary ceramic arts community.

The American Museum of Ceramic Art (AMOCA) is delighted to announce Fahrenheit 2024, the revival of their juried exhibition. Launched in 2018, Fahrenheit 2018 received an overwhelming response and showcased over 80 artists’ best ceramic creations juried by Patti Warashina.

Zimra Beiner (Assistant Professor, Ceramics) and Carly Slade (BFA ’10, Ceramics) are exhibiting artists.

Artists whose works were selected through the jurying process will be celebrated at the opening reception.

The Fahrenheit 2024 Best of Show, selected by Kathy King, was awarded to Carly Slade for Berta, a ceramic “scrap truck” created with remote control car components and found objects. Slade will receive a solo exhibition in the Igal & Diane Silber Vault Gallery at AMOCA in 2025-26.
