Entrance awards
AUArts offers over $70,000 in Entrance Awards each year to new students starting a degree program at AUArts. Entrance Scholarships do not require a separate application, rather, students who apply for admission by the Priority Deadline of February 1 each year are evaluated on the basis of their application for admission to AUArts.
Entrance scholarships are applied to first year tuition as tuition credit. Depending on the value of the scholarship, it may be split between the Fall and Winter Terms for the first year of study. Entrance scholarships are offered for the first year of admission only and are not automatically deferred should a student defer their admission to AUArts.
These scholarships are based on academic and creative performance in high school or equivalent.
