Soldering is a foundational skill that expands your creative possibilities in metalwork. Focus is on learning the technical aspects of essential methods for joining metal components, including butt joints, sweat joints, and the use of resists and heat sinks. You will also learn how to choose and apply different types of solder effectively. You will receive guided instruction and hands-on practice, as you build confidence and precision in your soldering skills—an essential step in advancing your jewellery-making abilities.
