All AUArts BFA and BDes students are invited to submit photo-based/ lens-based printed work January 17-31 for the Exposure Photography Print Showcase happening in the Upper Main Mall on campus February 2-15.
Guidelines:
Drop your pieces to the I/O Lab and give them to Technician Brent Smith for secure storage. You can email Brent if you have questions or to arrange a time (brent.smith@auarts.ca).
All submitted pieces must have a piece of paper taped to the back with the following information clearly printed: Artist's Name, Title of Piece and Date Created.
Eligibility:
- Printed work only (on any substrate). No screen-based or video work will be accepted at this time.
- Pieces may be framed, unframed, mounted. etc.
- If work is framed, mounted or printed on a rigid base, it must include a means for hanging on the back. If the work is on paper or other flexible base, you must agree to let us hammer a finish nail through the edges of the work to mount to the wall. If you include a print border, the holes can be trimmed off after the show.
- You may submit as many pieces as you wish. However, the curators reserve the right to hang only as much work as possible based upon space, number of submissions, equal opportunity, etc.
- All submissions must have been created within the past two years.
