Trombone of the Deep BlueAcrylic Music, sea creatures, and dinosaurs. This painting will demonstrate how much I like them. From this painting, there are multiple sea creatures and the background is underwater. I made the theme underwater since I am really curious about oceanic creatures. I used a brush stroke I never tried before to draw the textures of the background. The shark playing the trombone is a lemon shark. The stroke on the shark is a stroke that I had never used before, showing how I liked to try new things with paintings. I painted the arms orange as it is one of my favorite colors and as well as it being a jazzy colour. I also used a different stroke to draw the arm; I mixed some yellow and orange together. I drew the trombone as dinosaur bones to show my admiration of them even after they don't exist anymore. I used acrylic modeling paste as dinosaur bones. Shown at bottom right, sea creatures and birds fell out, these animals are all foods that lemon sharks often eats. creatures falling out from the trombone to show not only does it look jazzy, it also showed the importance of hygiene of playing an instrument. |
