The Wolf & The LambGesso and acrylic on book board, watercolor and pen on watercolor paper Beatrix Potter was the main source of my inspiration for this piece so I chose to use characteristics specific to certain animals to represent people in my life. I explored the personal experience of living in a dysfunctional household to transitioning into a loving family. I use both a combination of contrasting colours and imagery to tell a story of my familial changes and how it has shaped me. Read the story in full here. |
