Dream job?Alcohol marker and pencil crayon When it comes to students, adults are always bringing up the prospect of future careers and are constantly asking "what is your "dream" job"? I've thought about this question so often that it eventually lost all meaning to me, it only plagued me. It is an oxymoron — how could someone dream of working? Despite this, I told myself that every question has to have an answer, so I dreamed as hard as I could and imagined myself as a selfless doctor concerned only for her patients, a tired scientist working hard to uncover a new sustainable fuel source and an artist unafraid of expressing her emotions and opinions through her work. Sadly, upon waking up, all the careers I had dreamed up in my sleep dissipated and again left me with the question — what is my dream job? |
