WHAT: The Alberta University of the Arts Students’ Association Show + Sale Winter Market is a public art market showcasing student work from the University’s creative programs including: painting, drawing, ceramic, fibre, printmaking, sculpture, glass, photography, and jewellery. Discover art as unique as you. All proceeds directly support the AUArts student artists and the Students’ Association.

VIP TOURS l $250 per ticket with $140 tax receipt (Eventbrite)
Join us on the afternoon of Friday, November 25th for our VIP Tours. During a guided behind-the-scenes look at AUArts’ studios, you will experience demonstrations in our fan favourite 1000°Celsius glass hot shop, enjoy a truly unique photography experience devised by our faculty in our photography studios, see latest innovations in art, craft and design, and even climb a rooftop in the Illingworth Kerr Gallery during a private tour of the gallery’s current exhibition.

Following the tour, stay for a hosted reception before being the first to see and purchase student artworks at AUArts Students’ Association Show + Sale, with some shopping tips from our students.

All proceeds go to support Boost-A-Student, a special fund that assists AUArts students in need by providing bursaries to help address life’s unexpected expenses. With 66% of our students needing financial support to make it through school, your contribution helps.

VIP Tour Schedule

• 2 p.m. - Behind-the-Scenes tours begin
• 3:45 p.m. - Private hosted reception includes food station and beverages
• 4 p.m. - Be the first to purchase student artworks
• 6 p.m. - Mix and mingle with arts-minded community at the First Night Fundraiser
