Artist Talk with Alum Mike Hooves and Tyler Lemermeyer

AUArts Alum Mike Hooves and Tyler Lemermeyer discuss the murals they each created for "Vivid 2021".

Alberta University of the Arts students, faculty and staff are invited to attend an Artist Talk with Alum Mike Hooves, BDes '16, Illustration and Tyler Lemermeyer, BFA '06, Media Arts on Wednesday, September 7, 1pm - 2:30pm in the Stanford Perrott Lecture Theatre.

In 2021 these two artists each created a unique mural to celebrate AUArts second year as a university and to liven up the busy corridor connecting the university with the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium via the LRT Line. This centralized point of interested between these two primary art hubs offers an opportunity to tell an engaging story for those coming and going through the doors.

Lunch will be provided and a tour of the murals will follow the Artist Talk.
