Remember the Dead

Remember the Dead is a collaboration between Polka Dot Dragon Arts Society and Nelson and District Hospice Society.

The intention is to create an opportunity for remembrance and connection to the departed loved ones in our lives and a safe container for experiencing and creatively expressing our grief. The public is invited to gather in the Nelson cemetery to experience performances, installations and interactive activities on this theme.

Curated by Rocio Graham (BDes '17, Photography), who has selected participating artists from both British Columbia and Alberta, creating an interprovincial artistic dialogue grounded in community, ritual and remembrance. This project is deeply connected to Rocio's work as a death doula, grief counsellor and artist.
