Overgrowth
Is a digital drawing that was created for my AP art portfolio, centered around the inquiry of 'growth'. This work was created with the intent of showing a more surface-understanding of the meaning of growth (such as hair and plants) along with a slight hidden meaning. As mentioned in the title, my goal for this piece was to show an individual surrounded by the chaos of too much 'growth', that has ended up leading to being more problematic than good. Growing and changing are essential for humans, but sometimes it is better in small doses.
