SPOTLIGHT: Graham Boyd

This Spotlight contains a collection of works that Graham Boyd (BFA ‘20, Glass and BFA ’22 Sculpture) has been working on over the last year. The work focuses on formal and sculptural side of handmade glass objects, highlighting their form, colour, surface and silhouettes.
 
‘Coaxial Stacks’ is a collection of works combining simple, basic geometric forms such as cylinders, cones and spheres, each assembled at their shared center axis, with attention to colour schemes and transparency.
 
The ‘Form Swoosh’ collection uses a singular line of colour, flowing from the top of the piece to the base. This singular "swoosh" focuses the viewer's eye on the curves and silhouette of the work.
