Study of Red
For this study, my class and I explored the market in Granville Island. I took reference photos of the butcher counter, finding beauty in the meat we eat. Strenuously, layer by layer, I drew every detail by examining the lighting, capturing the dimensions, with the goal of the finished piece resembling a photograph.
