This painting captures a day of wandering the streets of San Francisco in the late Summer.
The architecture of the city amazed me and I wanted to capture the whole mood of the day. The beaming hot sun mixed with a bounding wind up and down the streets of the city made everything feel like it was melting and mixing together. This painting truly is a reflection of the melting and mixing feelings of when it was painted and from the moment the painting was based off of. Painted in the winter the yearning of a stress free summer day that is just now a fuzzy memory is ingrained in this piece.
